Join Hometown Flower Co., Long Island’s first mobile and digital florist, sourcing exclusively from local farms, on Friday, October 18 6:30pm-8pm at Hitch in Babylon Village for a special floral design workshop in support of empowering girls of Long Island.
The evening will include a guided workshop in which guests will create their own #flowersinabag exclusively with Long Island-grown varieties alongside a selection of wine, cheese, and other delicious light bites.
A portion of ticket proceeds will go towards benefitting the non-profit organization, Girls Inc. of Long Island, to serve their community of girls, through their school-based programming, workshops, summer camps, empowerment and leadership conferences.
The event will serve as a platform to further Girls Inc. of Long Island’s message, and aims to fundraise enough funds to support two new girls to join the organization’s program.
