Girls on the Run Long Island Scholarship Fundraiser

Get in a great workout, meet new people, and enjoy wine and other refreshments at Girls on the Run Long Island's upcoming fundraiser! Join us on November 6th at CycleBar in Garden City and help fund the local nonprofit's scholarship program, which will be available next season in 2020.

Check-in begins at 7:30pm with the event starting at 8pm. There will be an energetic cycling workout followed by light refreshments. Only 48 spots are available so RSVPs are required. A $30 minimum donation is required, but participants can get sponsors to increase their donation.

Girls on the Run Long Island consists of two 10-week sessions a year for girls grades 3-8. Girls learn about teamwork, friendship, self-confidence, managing their emotions, dealing with bullies, the importance of communication and so much more while incorporating physcial activities. At the end of each 10-week season, girls and their coaches will complete a non-competitive 5K run.
