It’s the 30th Anniversary Season of Harbes Family Farm in Mattituck. As part of our season-long festivities, we’ll be holding Harbes Annual Sweet Corn Festival, Saturday, July 20 & Sunday, July 21 from 10am-7pm. Please join us to welcome one of the best parts of summer on Long Island – Harbes own super-sweet corn!
Don’t miss participating in one of our FREE fun-filled roasted corn eating contests for all ages! Once again we’ll be hosting what has become one of Harbes Family Farm’s most popular summer events. There will be two contests daily in our courtyard area.
There’ll be FREE LIVE MUSIC in our courtyard/picnic area both days from 1-5 pm. Saturday Dan Donnelly is scheduled to perform. Relax and enjoy Dan’s renditions of classic and contemporary rock done in an acoustic, coffee house style. Nico Padden is scheduled for Sunday. Her rich, catchy, heartfelt songs and fiery, soulful voice are crowd-pleasers everywhere she performs.
While you’re here you can visit Harbes Barnyard Adventure for hours of family fun! Harbes Barnyard Adventure is an 8-acre, family-friendly experience for all ages. The Barnyard includes a Singing Hayride tour of our 100-acre farm, our famous pig races and hosted children’s activities throughout the day. There are also farm animals, our very popular “Jumbo Jumpers” bounce pillows, a Sports Zone with baseball, football and basketball tossing games, “Lil’ Farmers PlayLand” filled with lots of fun activities for preschoolers, a trike track, and our musical animatronic chicken show. We’ll also be debuting some exciting new attractions for 2019!
Harbes Wine Barn, located behind the main farmstand, is a wine lover’s dream! In our 100-year-old renovated potato barn, we offer tastings of our award-winning wines and wine by the glass or bottle. There’s a rustic ambiance inside or you can enjoy your wine outside under an umbrella on our patio.
