Description

Architect Eric Woodward presents the story of Southampton’s Captain Austin Herrick, 1796 to 1862. Woodward takes us on his pursuit of the truth through the Herrick family’s oral history that includes a dramatic but unverified account from one of Austin's whaling voyages. Beyond presenting the facts, Eric will describe how he uncovered them along with historic documents, images, and Herrick family records bringing Austin’s full story to life.
