Meet up with our team at Hotoke, a Hibachi and Sushi restaurant in Smithtown. On arrival, we'll each grab a seat and watch as the restaurant's expert sushi chef demonstrates the art of rolling while enjoying free appitizers and drinks and from our restaurant, Hotoke. After each tasty morsel is assembled, we'll try our own hands at making each rice-and-seaweed-filling roll before progressing to the next how-to. Everyone will learn how to make a california roll, Nigiri and a hand roll. As we learn to roll, we'll also sample three different varieties of sake.
At the end of the class, we will split into teams and compete for the best rolled sushi.
The winning team will be determined by how skillfully the sushi is made. Each team member from the winning team will recieve a prized giftcard to Hotoke restaurant. Thats not all, no one will walk away empty handed. Each contestant will leave with a special souvenir to take home. So, for just $100 per ticket, not only will you potentially go home as our sushi champion but you will have learned the skills of a true sushi chef and have a blast learning and drinking sake doing so!
