Parenting is an ongoing journey that often leaves parents and guardians learning how to navigate and reconcile their children's experiences. As a leading provider of youth mental health services, we are absolutely thrilled as an agency to now offer a series of supportive parenting workshops that will focus on important topics relevant to the well-being of today's youth and teens.
Join us for several drop-in workshops at our Counseling Center, located in the portable building on the grounds of the Shoreham-Wading River High School. Our counselors look forward to creating a safe and supportive atmosphere and discovering additional topics that will add value to families in our communities.
Workshop topics include:
February 26th: Bullying
March 11th: Safe Social Media Use
March 25th: Coping with Student Anxiety and Stress
April 8th: Helping Children with Mental Health and Well-Being
Workshops are held at 6 PM and are a suggested donation of $30 per person and include light refreshments.
