Description

Based on the novel by Winston Graham, “Marnie” depicts a story of a young woman who, due to her habit of embezzling from her employers, is forced to assume multiple identities. When Marnie’s boss catches her in the act of stealing, he threatens to turn her in if she does not agree to marry him. Through powerful and beautiful music, “Marnie” tells a story about the restrictions of freedom and the inability for one to truly escape their past. Directed by Michael Mayer, with a libretto by Nicholas Wright, “Marnie” is an exhilarating production you cannot miss!
