The Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic at the Joan and Arnold Saltzman Community Services Center is recruiting members for "Speaking of Toddlers," a language stimulation group for toddlers and preschoolers.
Through developmentally appropriate play, sensory-based activities, and snack/craft/story time, children develop vocabulary and social communication skills. Language facilitation strategies, peer to peer interactions in small group settings, and parent training are used to achieve each child's individual language/communication goals.
Groups meet once a week for an hour. Openings available: Mondays 2-3 p.m., Tuesdays 9:30-10:30 a.m., Fridays 9:30-10:30 a.m.
