Join us for “Life in Black and White” to take a look back at the era that was defined by the Jazz Age, the Great Depression and prohibition. Pianist Michael J. Striffler will head up a talented cast featuring music from the twenties and thirties and a 1901 Knabe piano. A “silent film” vignette will be shown set in historic Stony Brook with an accompanying live soundtrack by Striffler. Songs of the era will be performed by Alexandra Droual, Olivia Passanante and Anna Lubitz who will be in period outfits provided by Flair Boutique. The film was produced by Trevor Munch.
The evening will include Hors d’oeuvres and wine and the cost is $40 per person with an early bird special of $37 per person if reserved by October 15th.
