Scattered power outages are expected. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Wind Advisory is issued when sustained winds of 31 to 39 mph, or gusts of 46 to 57 mph, are expected or occurring. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles, in open areas, and on elevated roads and bridges. Use extra caution. , "Special Statement" ...Very slippery conditions through tonight... temperatures will plummet through tonight well below freezing. As these temperatures fall, plenty of residual moisture and leftover standing water on area roads will freeze, or remain frozen. This will lead to areas of black ice. Join the Mental Health Association of Nassau County for STEPS OF HOPE, our inaugural mental health awareness walk to celebrate Mental Health Month!

We wll be meeting in the Field 1 West parking lot.

This community event is FREE, open to the public and family friendly. (Please no pets except of course for service animals.)
