WEEK-LONG WORKSHOPS FOR CHILDREN
Ages 5-8 and 8-13

Children will have the opportunity to explore different materials and techniques including drawing, painting, collage, cut shapes, printmaking, constructions and more, often shifting between projects, in a fun and supportive atmosphere. Lessons often include a simple art concept (abstract art, mosaic, graffiti, plein air, impressionism, etc.) and encourage children to use their imaginations. Possible projects include drawing a still life, painting outside, creating a self-portrait, learning perspective. Curriculum may be slightly different with each instructor and geared to be age appropriate for each group.

Students should wear a smock or old clothes and bring a simple snack (fruit, crackers and cheese, etc.) and a drink. All materials included
