Summer Vender Fair

Temple B’nai Torah will be holding its 25th annual Summer Fair on Sunday, July 28, 2019 from 10 am – 5 pm at 2900 Jerusalem Avenue, Wantagh, NY 11793. You are receiving this e-mail to let you know what is going on. Free Admission. Vendors pay $50 per spot. The Fair takes place outside in the closed street surrounding the Temple building as well as inside in our air-conditioned social hall and entrance hallways. We have updated the lighting and electric in our social hall. Temple B’nai Torah is now a much larger congregation with a membership by 600 or more families located in Wantagh, Bellmore, Merrick, Seaford, East Meadow, Levittown, Massapequa, Massapequa Park, Farmingdale, Bethpage and even Great Neck. Our event will be advertised and promoted in print and digital sites throughout all these areas. Our Temple sends to each of its members a weekly Scroll via e-mail in which each family is made aware of this important fundraiser. This promotion will appear for at least two months prior to the Fair. In addition, each family will receive a flyer promoting the Fair in its monthly dues mailing and it will be promoted in the monthly magazine of the Temple – on-line and in print. A 500 family non-Temple mailing will also be sent to people who have requested information about Temple functions. We have an extremely active Bingo two times every week. There will be large posters in the lobby and individual flyers handed out to the 175+ players at each game. The Temple is located on a very active corner – the intersection of Jerusalem and Oakfield Avenues. This corner is the conjunction at which Bellmore, Wantagh and East Meadow converge. On this corner, for the two months preceding the event, a very large sign – spot lighted at night - proudly proclaims the forthcoming Fair. Furthermore, it has been estimated, from previous events, that over 1000 people attend the Fair with over 100 vendors inside and outside the building.
