Date & Time
Taylor 2 returns to AUPAC to showcase the athleticism, humor and range of emotions found in Paul Taylor’s work. The program features the classic Aureole, which is often considered his first major success as a choreographer.
Aureole was the first time Taylor combined his loping antelope style of movement with Baroque music, and its grace and individuality were instantly the talk of the dance world. This piece has a special connection to AUPAC, since Taylor created this piece while teaching at Adelphi. The program will also include the striking and heroic Runes as well as additional Paul Taylor choreography.
