WHAT IS THE ANGEL AWARDS?
The Angel Awards is a beautiful ceremony dedicated to the amazing empowering Women of Long Island that create impact
through their business, community or volunteer efforts. These are the women that go above and beyond to raise awareness for
their causes, help neighbors in need, find new and exciting ways to fundraise, support community development and create a
difference in the lives of many, one voice at a time.
THE HISTORY OF CREATION:
The Angel Awards was created by the Equity First Foundation’s founder and Executive Director, Rhonda Klch after her mother
past away in Jan 2016. Rhonda’s mother , Cheryl, was community driven and believed in being a good neighbor, volunteer and
took time to speak about the things that were important to her. As a way to carry on her legacy, the selected angels all
represent and have characteristics that would have aligned with Cheryl’s beliefs.
PLEASE GET INVOLVED:
In order for an event to be successful and for a not for profit to thrive, we rely on sponsorships and donations from the local
business community. We are asking at this time to please consider a monetary sponsorship to support this 3rd annual event to
be held on Thursday September 27, 2018. We are also accepting “in kind donations” in exchange for sponsorships. If you would
love to get involved but financially can not, please consider donating a gift certificate, merchandise or other goods that can be
