NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD – Zombie Zoom Discussion

George Romero’s THE NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD threw out all the rules of the then tired horror film genre, and in doing so, became a scare-your-pants-off masterpiece that has rejuvenated horror movies to new heights. It is one of the most financially successful independent films of all time. Join film-maker and film historian Glenn Andreiev for a lively zoom discussion on this 1968 cult classic. Zoom participants will discuss rare production stories, Romero’s further zombie movie career and his low budget zombie hit, with chocolate sauce standing in for blood, changed not just horror movies, but movies forever.

Glenn Andreiev is a longtime film historian and film maker. His films have been showcased on CNN, The Museum of Modern Art, Newsday, Court TV, and of course, The Cinema Arts Centre. His films are available on his Vimeo Channel which now has a growing number of zombie and non-zombie followers."
