Description

"Bay Street Theater is presenting Bay Street To-Go, an all new online platform that provides engaging live theater experiences for our audience and patrons.

As part of our new online programming, we're bring you on Fridays @ 5, our virtual Sip & Sing sing-along with Valerie diLorenzo!

Valerie diLorenzo is a native New Yorker and resident of Sag Harbor. She is a professional singer and actress, and has been a fixture of the East End arts community for 25 years.

As a cabaret artist in New York City, diLorenzo won a number of awards for her one-woman shows, which have been lauded by the New York Times as “... a seamless venture of magic in the making.” She has performed at many venues in and around New York, and across the East Coast, including: Laurie Beechman Theatre, The Metropolitan Room, The Triad, Don't Tell Mama, The Duplex, Rose’s Turn, Mohonk Mountain House, Caramoor Center for the Arts, The Broward Center, Aventura Arts and Cultural Center, and ArtServe. Along the East End, she has performed at Guild Hall, Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center, Southampton Arts Center, The Suffolk Theatre, and many more.

Valerie is a proud card-carrying member of the Actors Equity Association—some of her theatrical credits include: Rose in Gypsy, Mrs. Johnstone in Bloodbrothers, Sheila in A Chorus Line, Nancy in Oliver!, Miss Hannigan in Annie, Miss Mona in The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, and Stella Deems in Follies,

She most recently originated the roles of: Elizabeth and Madam Bertin in Unikely Allies alongside Mr. Richard Chamberlin at the Pearl Theatre; Mother in Eco at the New York Musical Festival and Guild Hall; and Texas Guinan in Jenny & Me at the York Theatre."
