"Join our Executive Director, Stephen Searl, for a tour of our newly restored 1810 Dominy Windmill. You will learn about the history of this landmark, where it was built, how it came to Sylvester Manor and how we plan to turn it back into a working mill!
Preservation of the windmill began in 2018 and will be fully complete this summer. The tour will lead you inside the windmill to view the gears, driveshaft and other internal mechanisms.
This 45 minute tour will be on dirt paths and inside the windmill, which has steep and narrow stairs. Please wear appropriate footwear. This tour is not ADA accessible or for anyone with mobility issues. Recommended for ages 10+. Meet at the Farmstand."
