Marty Appel is generally acknowledged as the leading Yankees historian, author of 24 books, and former Yankees PR Director. He is also Magazine Historian for the Baseball Hall of Fame's "Memories & Dreams" magazine, and Emmy award winning producer of Yankee telecasts, as well as contributing producer for "The Bronx is Burning" (ESPN) and "61" (HBO).
