The Long Island School for the Gifted is a private co-educational day school for gifted students in grades Pre-K-9th. Accredited by the New York State Association of Independent Schools and Permanently Chartered by the New York State Board of Regents.
Our student population has an IQ of 130 or higher. Our teachers are trained to teach children that are gifted in a nurturing environment where the children will be intellectually challenged while in a comfortable social environment. Learning alongside their peers in a classroom setting of no more than 16 students in each individual class.
