During this nutrition and cooking class, we will focus on how our food choices can help us manage menopause naturally and fight moodiness and stress. Our guts make more serotonin than our brains. Find out which foods can help us to reduce the symptoms typically associated with menopause and boost our mood. Attendees learn all of this while enjoying cooking demonstrations, tasting delicious, healthful dishes and taking home useful class materials and recipes, all in a supportive group setting.
This 3 hour program from the Physician's Committee for Responsible Medicine and taught by a certified instructor combines all the nutrition education and 5 recipe demonstrations from two PCRM Food for Life Classes: Managing Menopause and Foods to Boost Your Mood. The food theme for this class will be brunch favorites. This class is limited to 8 participants and pre-registration is required. Early Bird and Buddy discounts are available.
