"New York Women and the Civil War" highlights the important and significant contributions of New York women in providing social, spiritual, psychological, material, monetary, medical, mourning, memorial and even military support for the war effort. The talk is based entirely on primary sources such as official records, diaries, letters, journals, and the occasional memoir.
