Learn practical methods to feel completely at peace with yourself.
Many of us suffer from overly critical views of our self. Instead of feeling good about ourselves we often feel bad or feel we aren’t “good enough.” These feelings of low self-esteem and even self-hatred undermine our belief in our ability to change and we get stuck in these painful attitudes. Without self-acceptance and self-respect there is no basis for a truly happy and beneficial life, but how do we develop these positive views? The practice of meditation helps us to connect with a deeper sense of well-being that opens us up to a new way of experiencing ourselves. Instead of relating to our faults and limitations and feeling stuck in bad habits, we begin to relate to our potential for happiness and growth.
In this course, through talks, guided meditations and discussion, Kadam Holly will show us how to cultivate that inner sense of well-being in meditation and to use it to change how we relate to ourselves.
